Eternity awaits

 Eternity awaits for each of us 

Not one escapes the grave 

Up or down, smile or frown 

Our choice on earth He gave 

We all makes choices every day 

Each choice foe or friend 

One choice endures, it’s mine and yours 

We choose our journey’s end

Life’s a trail be it short or long 

It wanders through the woods 

With all our sins, our losses and wins 

We carry all our goods 

It’s Christ we choose if moving up 

We  choose up or down 

Take up our sword, He’s our reward 

Choose up and get your crown 

Eternity is a long long time 

Train to get the prize 

Short time down here still it’s our steer 

On whom we forever fix our eyes.

Psalms 62:11-12

One thing God has spoken,

two things I have heard:

“Power belongs to you, God,

and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;

and, “You reward everyone

according to what they have done.”

1 Corinthians 9:25-26

Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air.
