Order from chaos

 Israel encamped, obeyed the Lord

They broke camp, set out, and still heeded

All the clans intact, family calm in fact 

They knew all their nerves were needed 

March into the desert, means death for most of man 

Their only chance was order, desert barren 

God makes order, He led them cross the border 

They made it through Sinai to Paran 

Moses pleaded for Him, knew they wouldn't last 

Each standard had to put the other first 

Couldn't be a race, they'd vanish without a trace 

Without His order, we'd all wind up worst.

Numbers 2:34

So the Israelites did everything the LORD commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.

Mark 10:31

31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
