Jericho blind

Sometimes we’re blind, We want our sight

We think we’re in the wrong place
Christ comes by, we don’t know why
Shout loud to be face to Face

His mercy is strong
Lasting long
He’s healing, let’s not wallow
Many and much receive His touch
Our gift: we get to follow

What they then see, for you and me
Greatest tale ever told
His Son then died, all sins to hide
Jesus lives, He’s already old

His mercy is strong
Lasting long
He’s healing, let’s not wallow
Many and much receive His touch
Our gift: we get to follow

His mercy is strong
Lasting long
He’s healing, let’s not wallow
Many and much receive His touch
Our gift: we get to follow.

Matthew 20:29-34
Two Blind Men Receive Sight
As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked.
“Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.”
Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.
