I’m lame… and that’s ok

We don’t all have all the gifts

We only have what’s given
Moses led, Aaron spoke
Came the day, they’re driven

God called Moses, Moses paused
He said to God, “ I’m lame”
God replied, He didn’t chide
He just spoke His Name

On the day He always speaks
Commands are always there
Listen close, His Holy Ghost
Unfolds His course of care

Don’t worry ‘bout people who can’t be pleased
God’s the one who's testing
Think you’re lame, saints felt the same
End of the day, you’re resting.

Exodus 3:13-14
Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

Exodus 7:1-2
Then the LORD said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country.

1 Thessalonians 2:4
On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts.
