Don't mess with God

 Obey God, don't plot evil 

Don't devise a wicked plan 

One who tries, even with allies 

Ends up a dead man 

Don't mess with God He always wins 

He wins because He's the winner 

We think we're pious, we're just biased

We sin because we're a sinner 

Judah, although afflicted, still in His plan 

His people afflicted no more 

His mercy is great, all Love and no hate 

Obedience opens the door 

We teachers be careful, need teaching ourselves 

We're preaching on theft, so stop stealing 

Sex is no sin for women and men 

Folks stuck in this sin, He's healing 

We who hate idols, are we robbing temples 

Adopting the ways of the world 

We boast in commands, then break with our hands 

Our piety comes unfurled 

Don't mess with God He always wins

Nahum 1:11-12

From you, Nineveh, has one come forth

who plots evil against the LORD

and devises wicked plans.

This is what the LORD says:

“Although they have allies and are numerous,

they will be destroyed and pass away.

Although I have afflicted you, Judah,

I will afflict you no more.

Romans 2:21-23

you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
