Warrior not my identity

 I Can't fight my way to identity, God knows I've tried 

Jesus is my standing 

My person's predated, my mission's mandated

My humility He's handing

Jesus now my life, I'm hidden in Him 

My mindset has changed from war 

Warrior to servant, my hope is fervent 

In Him I'll get through the door 

Because of His love, His obedience to death 

I am now changed somehow 

All of the fights, claiming my rights 

More than what God will allow

Philippians 2:5-8 (NIV)

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in very nature God,

did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;

7 rather, he made himself nothing

by taking the very nature of a servant,

being made in human likeness.

8 And being found in appearance as a man,

he humbled himself

by becoming obedient to death —

even death on a cross!
