Distance to Christ

 Isn’t it sweet that people have sight 

We see what animals don’t 

Our hearts fill with fear, we sense God is near 

Reach for Him, can’t see why we won’t 

What is plain to people, what we do see 

All of the bad stuff around 

If we were to pause, stop and look just because 

God and His goodness abound

Now to the point, the heart of the matter 

When God looks at us He sees Christ

On earth we’re in Him, in heaven we’re with Him

We’re free ‘cause He sacrificed
