Can't hinder The Holy Spirit

Can't still The Spirit, Holy Spirit speaks

Praise Him with trumpet, lyre, & harp
Dance while you play, as you breathe, say
"Praise You, Your double-edged sword is sharp"

Divides soul & spirit, marrow from a joint
Judges even heart, all thoughts and stances
To God nothing's hidden, Your sin escape, it didn't
He's seen all dirges and dances

We all give our account, stand before God
We're all facing judgement on the day
All laid bare, every hurt and care
Well done, if faithful servant, you'll hear Him say

Divides soul & spirit, marrow from a joint
Judges even heart, all thoughts and stances
To God nothing's hidden, Your sin escape, it didn't
He's seen all dirges and dances

Divides soul & spirit, marrow from a joint
Judges even heart, all thoughts and stances
To God nothing's hidden, Your sin escape, it didn't
He's seen all dirges and dances.

Psalms 150:3-6
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.

Hebrews 4:12-13
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Matthew 25:21
21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Too much joy for the blues

Be careful what you do or say, ain’t no sense in secrets

In the end you reap just what you sow
Rich in heart, He does His part
Angels sure to know which way you go

Tell my big brother the shape I’m in
Please put in a Word  for me
Saint Peter may just shut the gate
You had your joy you see

Ain’t  too much joy brother is there enough
Sensed the shape I’s in
Won’t you put in a word for me
Maybe I’ll see you again

Tell my big brother the shape I’m in
Please put in a Word  for me
Saint Peter may just shut the gate
You had your joy you see

Tell my big brother the shape I’m in
Please put in a Word  for me
Saint Peter may just shut the gate
You had your joy you see.

Psalms 51:17
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise.

Luke 16:19-26
The Rich Man and Lazarus
“There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
“The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’
“But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

Unity, liberty, & love

 Unity is love, Acceptance God-given

Let’s not fight over non-essentials
I’ll show love, you show patience
Meet  at The throne with His credentials

Liberty is one thing, love is above
Love is above every other
What Paul is stating, ain’t no room for hating
Every single human is your brother

We are in the world today
We’re human and we’re spirit
When we’re choosing unity
We are right there near it

Liberty is one thing, love is above
Love is above every other
What Paul is stating, ain’t no room for hating
Every single human is your brother

Liberty is one thing, love is above
Love is above every other
What Paul is stating, ain’t no room for hating
Every single human is your brother.

Romans 14:1
The Weak and the Strong
Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.

Debt

Sin is a debt I continually owe

I’m like the man born blind
I’ve seen the Son, know He’s The One
I’ve found All I’ll find

Worship is my one response
Being brought to Life
I‘ve been bailed, sin was nailed
Paid at Cross of Christ

Loving others now my goal
My one way to be Him
Law fulfilled, Christ once killed
Through love I let ’em see Him

Worship is my one response
Being brought to Life
I‘ve been bailed, sin was nailed
Paid at Cross of Christ

Worship is my one response
Being brought to Life
I‘ve been bailed, sin was nailed
Paid at Cross of Christ.

John 9:35-38
Spiritual Blindness
Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
“Who is he, sir?” the man asked. “Tell me so that I may believe in him.”
Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”
Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.

Romans 13:8
Love Fulfills the Law
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

Actual impostor

What faith have I, am I actually real

Is my offering pleasing
Can’t conform, can transform
God’s will for me ain’t a teasing

In our thoughts we think we’re all that
We grasp for more than we oughta
We can all relax, just face the facts
We’re all His son or daughter

What is a man, just blood and bone
Without the spirit, nothing
He blows along, sings his song
Whole time believes he’s bluffing

In our thoughts we think we’re all that
We grasp for more than we oughta
We can all relax, just face the facts
We’re all His son or daughter

In our thoughts we think we’re all that
We grasp for more than we oughta
We can all relax, just face the facts
We’re all His son or daughter .

Romans 12:1-3
A Living Sacrifice
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

God sustains

 God created me and you

Dreamed  us up and made us
Placed  us in the land we’re in
Heard our cries, inlaid us

God sustained both me and you
God saved us all
God sustains us to be true
Place our lives , bow all

How can I give all to God
I’ll give all I can
What is possible with our God
Impossible with man

God sustained both me and you
God saved us all
God sustains us to be true
Place our lives , bow all

God sustained both me and you
God saved us all
God sustains us to be true
Place our lives , bow all.

Deuteronomy 26:5-10
Then you shall declare before the LORD your God: “My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down into Egypt with a few people and lived there and became a great nation, powerful and numerous. But the Egyptians mistreated us and made us suffer, subjecting us to harsh labor. Then we cried out to the LORD, the God of our ancestors, and the LORD heard our voice and saw our misery, toil and oppression. So the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great terror and with signs and wonders. He brought us to this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey; and now I bring the firstfruits of the soil that you, LORD, have given me. ” Place the basket before the LORD your God and bow down before him.

Luke 18:27
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

New slave

Old guy was slave to sin

Old heart was bent
Unwilling spirit, though right there near it
New heart Heaven sent

I’ve a New song to sing
I’ve a New heart to bring
New way to behave
New slave

Wouldn’t’ve known I could ever obey
Couldn’t’ve seen the Light
Every breath led down to death
Had the wrong heart in the fight

I’ve a New song to sing
I’ve a New heart to bring
New way to behave
New slave

I’ve a New song to sing
I’ve a New heart to bring
New way to behave
New slave.

Psalms 51:10-12
Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Romans 6:15-16
Slaves to Righteousness
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey —whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Prophecy and Psalmody

586, what a year, Babylon burns it down

If you're alive in 585
Enslaved under new crown

Jeremiah, looking back
Sees what once was royalty
Egypt flirted, then deserted
Hard lesson to learn on loyalty

Judah gone, exiled out
City now deserted
Royal once, now a dunce
From God their eyes averted

Look to Jesus, therefore
Since we’re so surrounded
Run you're race to see His face
Perfect faith He founded.

Lamentations 1:1
1 How deserted lies the city,
once so full of people!
How like a widow is she,
who once was great among the nations!
She who was queen among the provinces
has now become a slave.

Hebrews 12:1-2 (ESV)
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Status of kings and duties of slaves

Strange  how we have both sides
Two sides active in one
Presence of Christ and pressure of sin
Only have Peace through the Son

Status of kings and duties of slaves
All mashed up into one
Born to boast, we’re given The Ghost
Til our suffering’s done

Hope is so powerful, hope is eternal
Hope is our boast in His glory
Our active hope, His course to cope
While we live in His story

Status of kings and duties of slaves
All mashed up into one
Born to boast, we’re given The Ghost
Til our suffering’s done

Status of kings and duties of slaves
All mashed up into one
Born to boast, we’re given The Ghost
Til our suffering’s done.

Romans 5:1-5
Peace and Hope
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Down to the bookstore

Go on and check out the Bible

Only one you can look up
God wrote the Bible
Love letter to all who book up

What is the Bible anyway
It’s our guide to glory
He’s Relational, He’s sensational
He writes the larger story

Drop what you’re doing
Engage with Him today
It ain’t rules to fix some fools
It’s listening to Him say

Let’s go down to the bookstore
Let’s you and I seek God
We’re our brother’s keeper
Avoid the land of Nod

Drop what you’re doing
Engage with Him today
It ain’t rules to fix some fools
It’s listening to Him say

Drop what you’re doing
Engage with Him today
It ain’t rules to fix some fools
It’s listening to Him say.

Genesis 4:16
So Cain went out from the LORD’s presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

Return to You

 I’m a man of wrath

I'm of the earth
Far from You I’m just sad and weak
I have turned away, no good to do or say
Meritless, my one choice is seek

Return to you, my shepherd
Return to You, my God
All my life depends upon Your keep
Return to you, my shepherd
Return to You, my God
Without You this man is asleep

Thank You that You’re good
You are omnipresent
Faithful  beyond comprehension
When there’s no one righteous, not one understands
Still You’re Shepherd, absolving our dissension

Return to you, my shepherd
Return to You, my God
All my life depends upon Your keep
Return to you, my shepherd
Return to You, my God
Without You this man is asleep

Return to you, my shepherd
Return to You, my God
All my life depends upon Your keep
Return to you, my shepherd
Return to You, my God
Without You this man is asleep.

Mark 14:37-38
Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Simon,” he said to Peter, “are you asleep? Couldn’t you keep watch for one hour? Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Romans 3:10-12
As it is written:
“There is no one righteous, not even one;
there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God.
All have turned away,
they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.”

Constant courting

For  you to you through you babe

It’s constant courting
I give myself up for you babe
My mind and self still sorting

I’ll commit to cleansing
I’ll present you clean
Show you shameless, holy, blameless
Love my King and queen

Royal pair we all are
Christ  gave Himself for us
First appointed, crowned, anointed
Changed to Royal from dust

I’ll commit to cleansing
I’ll present you clean
Show you shameless, holy, blameless
Love my King and queen

I’ll commit to cleansing
I’ll present you clean
Show you shameless, holy, blameless
Love my King and queen.

Ephesians 5:25-28

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

Tide is rising

We pass each other on the beach

Pretend our lives are sweet
We pass the dogs like table salt
At least they’re within reach

Tide is rising
Waters high ( I need a shoulder to lean on)
Tide is rising
Waters high ( I need a boat I’m seen on)

Why cant we hug like it’s ‘99
Our hearts in sync back then
All it takes is a renewal
We can rise high again

Tide is rising
Waters high ( I need a shoulder to lean on)
Tide is rising
Waters high ( I need a boat I’m seen on).

Unhindered

 Long  as we stay focussed

We seek and we find
Teaching, bold in proclamation
We then run our race, marked out for us all
Run to Christ, He built and owns The Station

He’s sitting in the throne room, initial work all done
Christ endured the cross, scorned it’s shame
Our race to run, fix eyes on the Son
Keep heart for good to glorify His name

What happens if we lose heart
What if we look away
What tangles us in our web of woe
The world of weariness, death the end of sin
Unfinished race, no place or show

That’s the thing with Jesus
He’s there to fix our eyes
Always and forever He’s alive
Up to us to seek Him, saints surround so seek Him
He’s our second chance to survive.

Acts 28:30-31

For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!

Hebrews 12:1-3

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Quiet blessings

How did His children not be quiet

Why did they grumble
He led them through with much ado
The least they have is humble

He led them through, He leads us too
We’re still prone to noise
Born to bless, He said yes
I am, you’ll see my joys

We’re prone to doubt, we haven’t seen
So long and yet He tarries
If we could see , why wait for free
We’d see the cost He carries

He led them through He leads us too
We’re still prone to noise
Born to bless, He said yes
I am, you’ll see my joys

He led them through He leads us too
We’re still prone to noise
Born to bless, He said yes
I am, you’ll see my joys.

Deuteronomy 8:4
Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years.

Mark 14:60-62
Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?” But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer.
Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
“I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

I'm not Judas

 I'm a sinner, I'm a saint

My humanity's a given
Priests and teachers, scared overreachers
Can even Judas be forgiven

Betraying Jesus, King of kings
Called son of perdition
While I sin, still hemmed in
Betrayal, not my mission

Tricky question, Judas' choice
destined doomed to debris
O my fate, love not hate
He's laid His hand on me

Betraying Jesus, King of kings
Called son of perdition
While I sin, still hemmed in
Betrayal, not my mission

Betraying Jesus, King of kings
Called son of perdition
While I sin, still hemmed in
Betrayal, not my mission.

Psalms 139:5 (ESV)
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay your hand upon me.
Luke 22:2-4(NIV)
2 and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. 3 Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. 4 And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus.

John 17:12 (KJV)
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

We all hurt

It’s not just you on your piece of dirt

Look up
look out
we’re everywhere
& we all hurt

We all hurt, we all bleed red
We all have tears that flow
We sit  proud in our nation-state
All  no-gods on show

Doesn’t matter language, tribe, or team
What colour hat or shirt
Folks all know in heart of hearts
We all know we hurt

We all hurt, we all bleed red
We all have tears that flow
We sit  proud in our nation-state
All  no-gods on show

We all hurt, we all bleed red
We all have tears that flow
We sit  proud in our nation-state
All  no-gods on show.

Deuteronomy 32:21
They made me jealous by what is no god
and angered me with their worthless idols. I will make them envious by those who are not a people; I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.

I want fans not friends

I’m ashamed to admit the statement is true

Can’t  I just trust Your plan
I should be teaching, not overreaching
Proclaiming & healing man

Interesting spirit makes me want fans
Same spirit  dogged others in past
Earth is enticed, I follow Christ
One who’s both first and last

Spirit is strong for followers and fans
Friends too, as long as arms-length
Folks make a mess, still I say yes
I can befriend through His strength

Christ could’ve had fans, He could’ve called down
Legions to protect and adore Him
He chose to die, stay up there and die
True friend to those who are for Him.

1 Corinthians 1:11-12
My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ.”

Matthew 4:10-11
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”
Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Respect is given, not taken

You seem away, far off today

Yet I’m holding You herewith
Yes I’ve sinned, You’ve seen and binned
My old minds now a myth

In control of this old soul
In mercy You’ve bought us
Ne’er too late,  we long await
From detention, brought us

From the beginning there’s been sin, not new even under the sun
You only need our wills to awaken
As much as we try to set ourselves high
Respect is given, not taken

You break through noise, unbound by doors
Right up to the edge we’re driven
Some things we don’t know, not all is on show
Offence is taken, not given.

Acts 5:17-19
The Apostles Persecuted
Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out.

Matthew 13:53-57
A Prophet Without Honor
When Jesus had finished these parables, he moved on from there. Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren’t all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.”

Barren height

God doesn’t change, He’s always good

Never turns to the left or right
Always a’flame, we honour Your Name
Go again to our barren height

Wherever you go, there you are
Can’t get away from your climb
You  know you can’t stop, you see the top
You know it’ll cost to spend time

We do what it takes, can’t outspend God
He’s there, waiting and molding
We quake and squirm, He holds firm
Eternal Earth He’s holding

Wherever you go, there you are
Can’t get away from your climb
You  know you can’t stop, you see the top
You know it’ll cost to spend time

Wherever you go, there you are
Can’t get away from your climb
You  know you can’t stop, you see the top
You know it’ll cost to spend time.

Numbers 23:3
Then Balaam said to Balak, “Stay here beside your offering while I go aside. Perhaps the LORD will come to meet with me. Whatever he reveals to me I will tell you.” Then he went off to a barren height.

Psalms 75:3
When the earth and all its people quake,
it is I who hold its pillars firm.

God He heals

God is healing  me to use my brain 🧠 to re-learn how to learn

Thank the Lord I’m still in His sights
Privileged position, fixed by Great Physician
We're destined for great heights

God He heals
God He heals
He’s the One who made us so He knows
God He heals
God He heals
Only One tree of life grows

Why are we so loved by our Creator
Made us in His image to fully heal
Even when we don’t know how He does it
Both sides of the river leaves are real
God He heals
God He heals
He’s the One who made us so He knows
God He heals
God He heals
Only One tree of life grows

God He heals
God He heals
He’s the One who made us so He knows
God He heals
God He heals
Only One tree of life grows.

Revelation 22:1-2
Eden Restored
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

My Kadesh

One of our largest obstacles, barrier, threat

Looms above us like a cloud
Second to salvation, our imagination
Screens reality like a shroud

Don’t decide to die in desert, Be bold like Caleb
Silenced crowd around him, spoke in power
Knew of danger, giants a risk
Appointed for this hour

God appoints us in our times
We’re weak, sometimes, in flesh
God, in grace, makes clear to us
This may be my Kadesh

Your Kadesh takes different forms
Mine sprang from sickness
A stroke meant I could live or die
I now don’t question quickness

Life is fragile, life is sweet
We get to live here free
Our Kadesh is in our flesh
Trust in God and see.

Numbers 13:27-30
They gave Moses this account: “We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there.
The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan. ”
Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.”

Barren Heights

We can't even look up today to see a barren height

Our eyes are glued to a phone
While we've ravished, You have lavished
You could've left us alone

We've all sat by the road, we're nomads
Still defiling land today
Business suits, yet prostitutes
Wickedness, our way

You've still shown Your love for us
Still sinners yet You came
Tortured, killed, Your blood we spilled
Still saved in Jesus name

We've all sat by the road, we're nomads
Still defiling land today
Business suits, yet prostitutes
Wickedness, our way

We've all sat by the road, we're nomads
Still defiling land today
Business suits, yet prostitutes
Wickedness, our way.

Jeremiah 3:2
2 “Look up to the barren heights and see.
Is there any place where you have not be
en ravished?
By the roadside you sat waiting for lovers,
sat like a nomad in the desert.
You have defiled the land
with your prostitution and wickedness.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Sinkholes & slips

Obedience is a key, Persist, persevere

Whatever help we need will be there
God knows we’re weak, mighty men are meek
Call  to God for help so we can care

Thank God He helps us, He saves & sustains
He’s advocate & mediator
There are sinkholes and slips, we testify with lips
He carries all our burden as Creator

Son, Holy Spirit, both sent from Father
Into our world that’s broken and bruised
He’s seen how things are done, He’s always been the One
Eternally  providing all that’s used

Thank God He helps us, He saves & sustains
He’s advocate & mediator
There are sinkholes and slips, we testify with lips
He carries all our burden as Creator

Thank God He helps us, He saves & sustains
He’s advocate & mediator
There are sinkholes and slips, we testify with lips
He carries all our burden as Creator.

Numbers 11:17
I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take some of the power of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you so that you will not have to carry it alone.

John 15:26-27
The Work of the Holy Spirit
“When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father —the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.

Just can’t hide from God

Trust God and rest, He knitted us

He has the whole picture and plan
We run and hide, not why He died
Wonderful works, we’re man

God sees all, even our thoughts
Our hearts laid bare before Him
We’ll give an account, once we surmount
Effort to obey and adore Him

We seek and strive, He sees all works
He knows of all intent
He’s cop and Judge, His love won’t budge
His justice Heaven sent

God sees all, even our thoughts
Our hearts laid bare before Him
We’ll give an account, once we surmount
Effort to obey and adore Him

God sees all, even our thoughts
Our hearts laid bare before Him
We’ll give an account, once we surmount
Effort to obey and adore Him.

Psalms 139:7-14
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

Hebrews 4:11-13
Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Wisdom comes from Word

You give us a new Word each time we read or hear

You’re always speaking through the Word
Every time we read, You fulfil a need
Wisdom made from what’s heard

Wisdom comes from Word
Wisdom comes from Word
A practice that pays
Wisdom comes from Word
Wisdom comes from Word
Understand our days

Other books are good, we learn in lots of ways
The fact is all things aren’t revealed
As a foil for Word, trust anything heard
Word makes us a master in His field

Wisdom comes from Word
Wisdom comes from Word
A practice that pays
Wisdom comes from Word
Wisdom comes from Word
Understand our days

Wisdom comes from Word
Wisdom comes from Word
A practice that pays
Wisdom comes from Word
Wisdom comes from Word
Understand our days.

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Hold lightly to the land

We  don’t know how long we have

We don’t know what we hold
He knows all, trumpet call
His earth, His hot, His cold

It seems that we, His children
We’ve inherited so much
Treat, my dear, a call so clear
Protect, steward, touch

One day we’ll find what’s left behind
What’s newly Created, Built
Until then, its sowing sin
On Jesus  laid our guilt

It seems that we, His children
We’ve inherited so much
Treat, my dear, a call so clear
Protect, steward, touch

It seems that we, His children
We’ve inherited so much
Treat, my dear, a call so clear
Protect, steward, touch.

Leviticus 25:8-12
The Year of Jubilee
“‘Count off seven sabbath years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbath years amount to a period of forty-nine years. Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land. Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan. The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines. For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields.

Delegation of Hope

Cease a curse from following a line

One God gives that power
Abandon Him to go after them
Land will fail to flower

May, in fact, never see home
Deported, exiled, expelled
Can’t see the one, could be grandson
Someone in line rebelled

From the top of all things
He knows just who swings
He’s the scales, the judge, the clock
For  us alive, He’s given us drive
We can cease,  cure, and unlock

Why He’s given us power, given control
They’re spiritual, timeless things
He trusts us with these, in Him we please
Delegation of Hope it brings.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Deuteronomy 29:24-28
All the nations will ask: “Why has the LORD done this to this land? Why this fierce, burning anger?”
And the answer will be: “It is because this people abandoned the covenant of the LORD, the God of their ancestors, the covenant he made with them when he brought them out of Egypt. They went off and worshiped other gods and bowed down to them, gods they did not know, gods he had not given them. Therefore the LORD’s anger burned against this land, so that he brought on it all the curses written in this book. In furious anger and in great wrath the LORD uprooted them from their land and thrust them into another land, as it is now.”

Luke 9:1-2
Jesus Sends Out the Twelve

When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Same song

I’ll put my foot in the river I’ll write whatever You say

My role on earth is basic: bring You honor
People say I should be climbing, I’m just glad I’m rhyming
I stop hearing You I’m a goner

Same song every time, Same song indeed
Ain’t no need to change just to suit ‘em
When I hear Your voice, I  daily make a choice
I could sing ‘em loud or I could mute ‘em

Every songs the same, my choices keep a’coming
World’ll push the pattern loud and long
Wanted  us conformed, we  transformed
Me  & Stevie sing the same song

Same song every time, Same song indeed
Ain’t no need to change just to suit ‘em
When I hear Your voice, I  daily make a choice
I could sing ‘em loud or I could mute ‘em

Same song every time, Same song indeed
Ain’t no need to change just to suit ‘em
When I hear Your voice, I  daily make a choice
I could sing ‘em loud or I could mute ‘em.

Romans 12:1-2
A Living Sacrifice
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.
