Twice dead

Second death is no joke, it's judgement

Are you waiting, He's waiting for you
He brings salvation, induces damnation
Your choice to wait with the few

Avoid love feasts, don't be the reef
Some things you just say never
Feast without fear, uprooted up here
Utter darkness down there forever

Don't be the wild wave, casting up foam
It's a short, sharp span to your shame
Don't be star that wanders, be person that ponders
How best to wait in Jesus' name?

Hebrews 9:27-28 (NIV)
27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Jude 1:12-13
12 These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted; 13 wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever.
