Obedience is key, we’re all in the palace
Really no room for sedition
He’s given us the tools to honour His rules
No need to create our own tradition
If up to all we seek, we’re likely up the creek
May be even worse than the ancient
Babylon destroyed, Jews overjoyed
Romans tried to plaster it with plainchant
Still under obligation, one King of kings
Came gentle, riding on a colt
He’s coming back, to judge not attack
We’ll see Him like we see a lightning bolt
Why not stay in line
Obedience is fine
God is the one Judge and jury
Trust Jesus’ name, you’ll not be the same
You’ll not have to face wrath and fury.
Ezra 4:14-15
Now since we are under obligation to the palace and it is not proper for us to see the king dishonored, we are sending this message to inform the king, so that a search may be made in the archives of your predecessors. In these records you will find that this city is a rebellious city, troublesome to kings and provinces, a place with a long history of sedition. That is why this city was destroyed.
Matthew 21:5
“Say to Daughter Zion,
‘See, your king comes to you,
gentle and riding on a donkey,
and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’”
Revelation 19:15-16
Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
