I, sin

I’m not sharp, I’m a sinner like everyone else

No need to put a finer point on it
Even I lead folks to Jesus , who heals us when He sees us
He’s the whole point of the sonnet

Sin ain’t all I am , He’s opened my eyes and ears
Like the deaf man, my mouth was mute mainly
Upon meeting Christ, I’m highly priced
My tongue loose now I  speak plainly

Can I please be some people, bring others straight to Christ
I’m begging Jesus daily for the ones
He made her, He sought her, she’s His dear daughter
He heals her and He touches sick sons

Sin ain’t all I am , He’s opened my eyes and ears
Like the deaf man, my mouth was mute mainly
Upon meeting Christ, I’m highly priced
My tongue loose now I speak plainly

Sin ain’t all I am , He’s opened my eyes and ears
Like the deaf man, my mouth was mute mainly
Upon meeting Christ, I’m  highly priced
My tongue loose now I speak plainly.

Mark 7:31-35
Jesus Heals a Deaf and Mute Man
Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis. There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him.
After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means “Be opened!”). At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly.
