Take hold of Jesus

 Like a son learns from father, our hearts can grasp His Word 

Living by the Law guards a life 

Whole law fulfilled, why Christ was killed

Shows loving others still stirs strife

What we have in Jesus no law can comprehend 

All we were is buried in the past 

Strive to keep commands, clock has two hands 

Through time, only loving others will last 

Take hold of Jesus, hold on to His Word 

He’ll guide you, shape you to His mold 

Hold on for all you’re worth, you’ll see new heaven and earth 

You’ll know He’s had you from of old
