Either old guy

 I’m a new man saved by Christ 

Ghosts of two others trailing 

Ones surely dead, memory in head

Other’s starved and flailing

I  know now how to push past 

Now know how and why 

New man ring, priest & king

Things were done and words were said 

It’s all buried with Christ 

Old guy still there, naked and bare 

New man’s just not enticed

I can see number two, looking at you 

First guy is now just an aura 

Can’t let in pride, my ring it’ll hide 

May wind up buried like Korah

Seems pretty simple, Follow Jesus, obey

Our new lives are lived in and for Him

He said, “ it is finished” our lives aren’t diminished 

They’re given up to adore Him

Numbers 16:21-22

“Separate yourselves from this assembly so I can put an end to them at once.”
