Our thoughts are vast, they’re dreams in head
Yet they’re searched by God
You’ve made each sound, You wrote it down
You’re seed from which we’re sod
Your gracious way You search and know
Our anxious thoughts You test
Your goal, You say, You lead the way
Lead us home to rest
Your way, oh Lord, is always good
We glean through prayer and fasting
In Your Word we’ve read and heard
Your Way is everlasting
Your gracious way You search and know
Our anxious thoughts You test
Your goal, You say, You lead the way
Lead us home to rest
Your gracious way You search and know
Our anxious thoughts You test
Your goal, You say, You lead the way
Lead us home, to rest.
Psalms 139:1-3
Psalm 139
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
You have searched me, LORD,
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
Psalms 139:23-24
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
